Acentra Health is a Beneficiary and Family Centered Care Quality Improvement Organization (BFCC-QIO) serving 29 states. We work with community organizations, healthcare providers, advocates, and other partners to help people with Medicare (also referred to as Medicare beneficiaries) understand their rights and get help when they have concerns about their health care.

How Acentra Health Helps People with Medicare
Acentra Health provides free BFCC-QIO services to Medicare beneficiaries across our 29-state service area. Our services include appeals, quality of care concerns, and Immediate Advocacy.
Hospital Discharge Appeals
Help when a Medicare beneficiary believes they are being discharged from a hospital too soon.
Skilled Service Appeals
Help when covered skilled services (e.g., nursing, physical therapy) may be ending too soon.
Observation Appeals
Help for certain eligible Medicare beneficiaries when their status changes from inpatient to outpatient.
Quality of Care Concerns
A way for Medicare beneficiaries to raise concerns about the quality of health care they received.
Immediate Advocacy
